Shopify? Well a really good friend of mine left 'our' place of work for this really amazing job, and I had to ask! He couldn't have given a better review if the CEO wrote one himself! Everything about his sales pitch (so to speak) was not only inspiring but was exactly what I was looking for in a career. The work itself is rewarding from what I have experienced thus far and I LOVE customer service but I enjoy being my own person and I believe working with Shopify allows me to be me while still delivering customer service excellence. The best part about this is that I can work with people where I can make a difference in their lives even if it's as little as getting their store running! (It's nice to see the fruits of your labor!) From the research I have done, the company seems pretty transparent and it looks like there is room to climb into other positions over time. That being said, working on 'my business' was a good time, I really did enjoy playing around and getting to know the program, it appears to be fairly straight forward and easy to manipulate. The short of the long is I think I have finally found a career path and its relieveing! I look forward to (hopefully) working within the Shopify team!
